Valentine’s Day Road Trip Ideas

Posted on:

Looking for something extra special to do this Valentine’s Day? How about a road trip? The UK has some wonderful places, especially around the North East. Here we share with you those places and how to make your Valentine’s Day that little more special.

Stargazing

Head to Stockton-On-Tees for an evening of stargazing, which sounds romantic right? The Wynyard Planetarium & Observatory is open on Valentine’s Day for you to spend the evening gazing at the stars. If you don’t fancy going to the observatory then head out into the countryside away from the city lights, we’d recommend taking a Fiat 500, you may be able to spot some stars there!

Head To The Coast

How about a romantic walk on the beach? This is obviously weather permitting, even though a blustery and damp walk on the beach could certainly get rid of a few cobwebs! Why don’t you jump into a Peugeot 3008 SUV and head over to Tynemouth Longsands or head a little further south to Roker beach in Sunderland. Just remember to pack a couple of blankets and some flasks of hot tea to warm up afterwards!

The North Pennines

Get your walking boots and waterproof jackets at the ready and take a trip to the North Pennines, it’s an area of outstanding national beauty so perfect for the romantic weekend walk. Pack a picnic and you’re ready to go. We’d recommend taking a Jeep Renegade with you to handle the off-road terrain!

Our Valentine’s Event Is Now Extended

Find your perfect match at our Valentine’s Event! Extended to this weekend, if you order any new car during our event you will receive a £200 Marks & Spencer Voucher! Find out more about our event here.

And Lastly;

Don’t forget to give your car a bit of love this Valentine’s Day and get it valeted before you set off for your road trip! Get the car shampoo out, clear the rubbish and replace that air freshener, it’s the little details that count. Happy Valentine’s Day!
