The Benefits of Driving a Peugeot

Finding a car that fits within your budget and lifestyle can be tricky and often overwhelming with so many different options to choose from. Peugeot offer various models that cater to a wide range of driving preferences, so if you are on the hunt for a new vehicle it is certainly worth considering making a Peugeot the newest addition to your household.

Here’s a closer look at some of our favourite models:

The Compact 108

If you’re looking for a reliable car on a budget, the Peugeot 108 is a good option. The perfectly compact car is great for navigating tight city streets and narrow country lanes. Choose between a 3 or 5-door hatchback or the TOP! Cabrio, which comes with a retractable fabric roof making it the perfect choice for summer driving. Inside the 108 you will also find a 7” colour touchscreen with ‘mirror screen’ used for connecting up phone apps. The car is affordable to run and the 1.0 litre engine produces a low 95g/km, making it exempt from car tax.

The Family Size 308

Out of all the new Peugeot cars, the most suitable for any large family is the stylish 308 SW estate. The model provides all the room you’ll need with a large boot and wraparound seats for further comfort. Inside the model has an attractive dashboard design with high-set dials and a large touchscreen grouping everything together for an uncluttered finish. An extra add-on is the panoramic glass roof, which opens up the car making it feels spacious and airy (and certainly recommended for those who enjoy their family holiday road trips!).

There are four engine options available, including the impressive 1.6 BlueHDi diesel. The car also produces a low 82g/km C02, making it exempt from car tax.

The Sporty 208

One of the sportiest Peugeot’s currently on the market is the new 208 GTi, which was released earlier this year in the 30th edition form with two-tone colour finish. The model has been modified by the Peugeot Sport team and given an extra boost of power, allowing it to achieve up to 62mph in just 6.2 seconds. The model is also very efficient, keeping C02 emissions at a low 125g/km. The smart interior boasts comfortable sport leather seats with all controls operated via the easy to use 7” inch touchscreen.

Whichever model you choose you can be sure that the quality build of Peugeot cars is one you can rely on. Browse our range of models online or contact our Ashington, Durham or Sunderland dealerships to book a test drive.
