A Guide To The Fiat 124 Spider

We take a look at the sporty and stunning Fiat 124 Spider!

Looking to add a little excitement into your life? Then take a look at the Fiat 124 Spider! This fun little sports car would make a great addition to anyone’s driveway!

The Fiat 124 Spider first arrived in Europe in 1966. It was technologically advanced for its time and quickly became a huge success. The first generation wasn’t built until 1985 and it has continued to undergo advances and updates to produce today’s fantastic generation. Take a look at why we think you should buy one!

Style

The first thing you notice about the Fiat 124 Spider is its style. It stands out and it’s bold exterior is sure to turn heads on the road. The model is based on the 1960s generation with its bespoke exterior panels and a narrow trapezoisal front grille.

The Engine & Performance

The Fiat 124 Spider has a 1.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine under the bonnet. It delivers 138bhp and can hit 0-62mph in just over 7 seconds.

Running Costs

While some may associate sporty cars with higher running costs, you’ll be pleased to know that the Fiat 124 Spider keeps these on the lower side. It has lower CO2 emissions than the Mazda MX-5 and will achieve 44.1mpg, so it’s not an expensive car to own!

Behind The Wheel

The dashboard is finished to the highest quality and the design flows throughout the car. The equipment doesn’t disappoint either; you can get a four-speaker DAB radio, USB connection, Bluetooth and controls on the steering wheel. There’s a seven-inch touchscreen with built in sat nav and the iDrive-style rotary controller located between the seats to make it even easier to control!
