From The Forecourt: Our Review of The Peugeot 208 Access 1.0 VTi 3 Door

Posted on:

At Richard Hardie, itís easy to see why the Peugeot 208 is one of our biggest sellers. A compact hatchback that drives as good as it looks, it never fails to impress.

So, we thought we’d tell you about the Peugeot 208 Access 1.0 VTi 3 Door that we’ve been keen to test out.

Firstly, we think the Peugeot 208 offers a new and unique driving experience. If you’re used to the 207 then this is a great upgrade, offering increased comfort and technology.

Built with efficient engines, which are designed to offer excellent fuel economy, the Peugeot 208 delivers emissions as low as 87g/km.

The new Peugeot 208 Access 1.0 VTi 3 Door takes eco-friendly to the next level, not just because of its fuel efficient engine, but with the materials used to build the car itself, incorporating recycled materials into major components such as the rear bumper, steering wheel, seats and engine housing. Designed with lighter materials, low rolling resistance tyres and greater aerodynamics to even further improve the efficiency.

The car is packed with cutting edge technology, with features such as satellite navigation, park assist and a multi-function touchscreen, all of which are readily available and easy to use.
Other desirable features on this model include e-HDi Stop and Start technology, ‘follow me home’ lighting, cruise control, ABS, ESP and remote central locking, all of which contribute to the high quality final product.

Peugeot has always been synonymous with stylish design, and the 208 Access 1.0 VTi has a distinctive face and feline which makes it unmistakable. The feline look comes from the intricate detailing around the centre line, which runs from the grill up and over the bonnet all the way down to the boot, giving the illusion of a spine. With signature LED lights and stylish tinted rear and side windows, the Peugeot 208 is undeniably sleek.

For just £149 a month, it’s an unbeatable deal here at Richard Hardie Sunderland, Durham and Ashington.
